To buy or not to buy (a JR Pass)

Hi, I'm going to Japan next July. Two years ago I bought a JR Pass and it made travelling quite easy and comfortable. This time I'd like to know if it's really worth paying the 350 euros (46000 yen) or if it's cheaper to buy the individual train tickets in Japan. If the difference is, say, 100 euros, I'd think about it. But if it's not too much, I'll probably go with the JR Pass.

My route will be: Tokyo - Nikko - Hakone - Kyoto - Osaka - Tokyo.

I'll reply my own post. I found the following website: HyperDia | 乗換案内 路線検索 時刻表 旅費精算 通勤費 ダイヤ作成なら It allows you to calculate the fare price and different possible routes to take. Adding everything up, the whole route would cost 52.000 yen. So the JR Pass is worth it's price.

Also check if it makes sense to get a shorter-term pass to cover just some of your travel, then buy a couple of separate tickets when you need them. I've done that before and it can work out significantly cheaper if it fits your schedule. But for flexibility's sake it might be better to get the longer one.
