Fawadosman, I think you should contact your professor first, asking about that
so the assistant professor from my advisor's lab emailed back to me once i asked him about my status and he says that he got my status checked from the admin office and i will get the offical reply in the first week of March. i don't know what he means by that. I haven't given any interview yet!! does that mean its just going to be a rejection? I really hope there s still a chance for me out there.
I'll write his text in quotes "I have asked the Titech Office your state. They said that they will inform you about passing or not after 5th March officially. Please wait for a while."

Hi Rehaa. Going as PFS is ok as long as you can afford it. But did you know that there is many scholarship offered for PFS, such as from Jasso (honor scholarship for PFS, check here Reservation Program for Honors Scholarship for Privately Financed International Students (June 2012 EJU)-JASSO), and the others are scholarship offered by the university itself (I don't know the detail, may you could ask your sensei), or by private/public institutions. Hi Rehaa! famous universities like waseda, keio, todai, tokodai sure have many options of After Arrival Scholarship
Even the amount is bigger than monbusho!
I think every sensei will try their best to provide their students some scholarship links.
As for JASSO, I think it will cover 70% of your living cost in Tokyo (the rent cost in Tokyo is definitely higher T,T)
I can survive in Kanazawa with 80,000 because the rent cost+water+gas only 15.000 yen/ month

because my senpai at tokodai told me when you are being nominated as one of monbusho scholars of ur department, u have 80-90 percent chance of getting the scholarship. so MEXT will do another screening?
