As the number of rooms is limited and there are a lot of students enrolling in October, probably many of you will be on our waiting list. Sorry but we cannot assure your room at our dormitory, so please start searching your room by your own.
Also we will continue allocating our dormitory rooms, as we receive the cancellation from other students.
I do not really got you meaning? How do you mean of "didn't receice confirmation" and "on waiting list"? I belongs to Komaba International House. Could you explain more detailed about your case?

Hello dear friends! Thank you all for sharing with your experience about MEXT application process.
I am going to apply to the IGP(A) as well and my intended department is Computer Science. I have read all your post about interview question and I am confused, because i've studied Information Systems (Information Science) at undergraduate course and unfortunately we havent study automata(( do u know what kind of questions i could get according to my case? I would really appreciate all you help and suggestions.
P.S. my intended research field is NLP.
Hei.. I am on Computer science, too. And NLP, tooI see you're a female, I would be very happy if you join us in NLP because I am now the only girl in NLP (it is about 20 members in NLP lab and I am the only girl !!)

Hmm.. I don't know too what they will ask you regarding your condition, because I was also asked mainly about automata (as it is one of the basic of NLP). But don't worry, I think you can do it if you start studying automata by yourself because all they asked is just the basic of automata, not very advanced. Ganbatte ne!
Hello, I will do the interview test two week again. I applied for Department of Intelligence System and Computational Science .Can anyone give some advice regarding the interview process? My Professor said that I must select a two hours available time. Does the interview take that long? Thank you for your reply.
