Hey Guys!
My boyfriend collects japanese swords and just received this one from a friend for his 21st birthday.
We were wondering what the inscription is, we thought that it could either be a family name or the mark of its craftsman. Ive tried using a few of those kanji drawing programs but had no luck. Thanks in advance for anyone reading this post.

It seems like 山口正之[Yamaguchi(a family name) Masayuki(a male given name)].
