Study Buddy?

I love studying Japanese, but I have trouble studying by myself, since no one I know wants to actuualy LEARN Japanese... They want to know it, but they can't take the time to learn it... Anyway...

I wanted to know if there were any people on here, no matter what age, that would like to be my "study buddy". I just want to have a friend to be able to study with. Like, I could ask them to test me on stuff, and vice versa (unless they were fluent... then there would be no point of me testing them o_o) Ummm... Yeah!

I would just like someone to study with, or someone who's willing to help me study (for you people from Japan/people who speak Japanese fluently)! ^_^

um, i want a study buddy too. we can share and practice but would i be of much help? i'm still a beginner too. probably far worse than you. but i do think it's nice to have a person to interact and practice with.

Are your penpals not teaching you anything? Some of mine enjoy speaking english but will not hesitate to correct your japanese. hardest part is having some one who doesn't speak english so well explain grammar points.

Most of the time we speak in English, and sometimes, 1/3 of the time we'll speak Japanese... Because usually they'll use slang and I won't understand... lol

And I think most of them speak really good English so yea...

I found some pen pal friends who are all female, who study english. We speak english most the time, and less than a quarter of the chat is in japanese lol. I hardly know any so far, but their fluency is insane!
Plus, it's email, so studying is kinda tough when you have to wait for a response.
I am also looking for a study person but not through email

Tomii I'm confused, you say you need a study buddy but you also say that your Japanese pen-pals help you out. Shouldn't they be considered study buddies?

Did KI say that? Well, they don't help me out. I mean, if i ask them to transalte dsomething, they will... And stuff like that, but I can't really study with them.

I'm trying to find someone thats learning Japanese so I can study with them.
