almost 9 pm, still in the office, logging on this forum to refresh.
very interesting story, mike.
actually, i am not a westerner, i am chinese, who is supposed to have a similar culture background as japanese people, but i find i really dont know much about them.
lol.

You know I am sorry I didnt ask this sooner, but thanks for sharing that you are Chinese. I would be willing to make a bet that the people in the office "expect" more from you than if you were a "western" gaijin.

Heck I have similar background of Canadians but I really dont know much about them either.
