Special Characters next to User Names

I'm am curious as to what the "+" and "*" mean next to the usernames under the People Who Have Visited.

I noticed everytime my wife is on, or was on, there is plus sign next to her name, but it is not actually apart of it.

the star means they are in invisible mode and the plus might mean they are on your buddy list?

Won't put my hand on the Bible to swear by it though.

I do know that usernames that have a "*" next to the are invisible to other users apart from team members and Donators. I know this because I asked why I could see invisible people. As for the "+" I'm not sure. Maybe one of the moderators can answer that one.

frank's right, the "+" means the person is on your buddy list.
