Soroban a relatively new indies band which started around 2004. i've been very addicted to their music lately!

I like Soroban too! I never bothered looking up what they looked like, though, and I didn't know that they were so young. Ryuuji reminds me of Mao from Sid in that first picture. Aw, Yumehito is cute, and he's only like a week older than me. I don't know why that's relevant or why it matters, but it's fun to know nonetheless. Thanks for the info!
 
Never heard of them....guess Ill try to find some of their stuff!!!! and wow!!! they are so cute.......but I must accept that I like Yuya the most
 
Tell me it's not true... Tatsuhi weighs 38kg?!?!? I'm sorry, but that's ridiculous.

They look kind of odd to me... like some freakish robots that will come and haunt my nightmares, squeaking and gibbering... ooooo.... :shiver:

I've heard of them, but I haven't heard their music... of course, if their music is good then I don't care that they look like possessed-by-the-devil dolls...

They look like every other VK band put together, but until I hear them I'm prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt.
 
but then remember tapi-chan is only 156 cm tall. >.< and some jrockers weighs only 42 kg when they are about 17x something like shinya and yumehito.

i love their music! i have posted some songs but then i saw the copyright thing and took it off
 
Well, I'm only 160cm and when I was 38kg I looked horrible... ... still, maybe he has smaller bones than I have...

you weight 38 when you where 160? yes, perhaps.. some people have
small and light bones...

yuya looks great he has a great face...
the others look kinda fake too me.

i have a clip of them on my pc....
 
yumehito looks fake too :? he my fav out of them and he has pretty lips hahah. but now you say it tatsuhi looks a little fake most oshare-kei bands have a doll-type makeup so maybe that's why. i've listened to some indies these days and one of them which i like most is soroban. mainly the only thing that i like of the others oshare bands are just looks >.<;



 
I like Yuya's look the best, he looks most natural to me and good-looking.
But Ryuuji has very nice piercings, I like them (although I'm not sure about his eyebrows )
 
Soroban is breaking up.

Soroban is breaking up? I've only just started listening to them! WHY DOES ALL THE GOOD BANDS BREAK UP SO EARLY!

They've been my favorite indies band for a while. I was getting really really into them.
One of my first priority things to do in Japan was to SEE SOROBAN! It's really depressing me.
Luckily I've got Kurohata to cheer me up, but it's happiness hard found...
Really, why Soroban? Of so many others, why them?
Sorry for the rambling, but I'm really really sad.
 
I'm really sad too ... but since they're so young, I figure the guys will still have plenty of time in music in the future. I can only hope that they decide to continue with their music careers in one way or another...

seriously though, this is the second band breakup of the last couple of months that has made me really sad (the first being Clavier) ... this sucks!
 
I totally agree! I love Clavier..and then finding D'Air is breaking up...*sigh*
 
damn it! why?!??? i hope the will continue making good music... individual or in another band....

missing yuya....
 
yeah that sucks, the only two oshare bands (clavier & soroban) i like most breaks up =( ;~;

anyway, I hope the members will re-surface soon in new or some other session bands!
 
So, I started listening to Soroban and I like them
It's sad to find out that they disbanded T__T
But, I also have some news
A) Yumehito is an official member of the Band Ayabie since last year
B) Ryuuji & Tatsuhi are in a new Band called "zoro", But Ryuuji changed his Name into Oryu (if I am not wrong, maybe I understood it wrong, please correct me then xD)

zoro consists of 3 Members now, Ryuuji does Vocal, Tatsuhi does Bass, Taizo does Guitar.

ooooh, when I first found out about this I was so happy... and I still am!!^^;;

can't believe they are all back! exept yuya....but actually I don't care that much... sorry if anyone loves him..^^;; But scaryface is baaaack!! (sorry, scaryface = tatsuhi♥)

I wonder what they will sound like....
 
I made a mistake, Ryuuji didn't change his namr, his Name still is Ryuuji xD
