I went to an exhibit of Shigeru Mizuki a few weeks back and did a write-up of it. It should be of interest to those who like classic manga!

Unfortunately, not just around the corner for most of us. I'm a big fan of Shigeru Mizuki and have all his books published by Drawn and Quarterly. Thanks for sharing this.

I'm already halfway through with it. Many of his wartime experiences in New Guinea were also covered in the second part of his Showa history. He was pretty lucky to make it back alive.

I'd love to see that exhibition!
