Finally saw a Japanese Horror movie;
-> Ju-on (The Grudge)

It was just OK, but seemed weak. Never a big fan of horror anyways.

The ghost didn't seem scary, whey did someone have a rage and kill. I never seemed to explain this. What was the ghost agenda.

I actually found Toshio-kun pretty funny and cute......he definately grew taller and bigger in the western sequel haha.

And also the black cat in the beginning. I was feeling sympathetic for the cat when the "man" grabbed the cat by the skin....... :sorry:

^_^

heh

personally, i adore this film, but then i love japanese horror, so... i would.
pluss... the dead woman's hott! *cough* err... i mean ^^;

i'm desperat to see the sequal.
i actuall loved the american remake, which i wasnt expecting to after seeing 'the ring' *ick*
sarah-michelle geller anoyed me, and as a fellow buffy-aholic, thats saying something, but, i thought it was well done.

Toshio-kun is adorable ^^
He's supposed to be dead! How can a dead kid be adorable? He drags people into the nightmare of his mothers' rage. BTW I have seen the original TV movies which are in some respects creepier than the films.

i dunno... maybe he was cute when he was still alive? 😊

I enjoyed this one. Kind of a lighter version of Ringu, but still quite claustrophobic- certainly enjoyed it more than the remake
