Saigo Takamori, The Real Last Samuria

I thought this was the closest to being the closest to following the plot of "The Last Samuria" movie. Their was a last stand by the Samurai against a modern army (, using howitzers and observation balloons).

Of course not perfect as the movie. The band of "rebel" Samurai's did use some modern weapons.
