Rakuten.co.jp->Your opinion/description?

I believe it is quite popular, and big, webshop service in Japan. Since it is available only in Japanese though, could someone who understands Japanese and has been using this service, give me an opinion and description about the webpage? Is it easy to use, is it as popular as I think it is? What kind of products you/people you know buy from there?

In case you are wondering, its for my job. I should give a description of the service ^^

They offer a lot of eCommerce-related services, mainly webshops for private "mom & pop" operations as well as small- and medium-sized companies. They have also started to offer free blogging services. From what I have heard from acquaintances, they are not exactly inexpensive. Another downside for webmasters is that you cannot intergrate their shop into your own website, as members have to use their servers.

I got a good price price for a room during Sapporo Snow Festival 2006 using rakuten's english website.

StackPath have a look on this site, lots of japanese things on there, food, crazy stuff, dvd's , porn, etc etc pretty fun to have a look for 10-15min.. and maybe buy something ..
