Radical assistance dude!

(Yes, I'm aware the sad attempt to be "funny" in the topic is nausiating.)

Anyway, right now I'm just getting to the point where I am starting to seriously study Kanji. I know only about 100 or so now, but the number increases every week, so does the Kanji complexity and likelyhood of confusing some kanji!

What I am looking for is a resource for information on the radicals that Kanji are built off of to help build a stronger foundation of what each group of strokes represents. While I'm already aware that this isn't going to explain every kanji, the more I know about the building blocks in a kanji I learn, it seems to help stick better in my mind. I already know a few meanings of the radicals from a couple dictionaries, and it has helped a good deal.

Does anyone know of books, websites and the like that give a rundown of radicals and data on each? It would be greatly appreciated. I have run a few searches but haven't found anything too great yet, and I have always found the best sites through references by others.

James W. Heisig's "Remembering the Kanji" series is good for what you want. Should be able to find it easily on amazon.com.

Yeah, neither have I. I think it's interesting, though, that the fastest I ever got a package was when I bought one used. That guy was amazingly fast! I was shocked to see that I had already gotten it!
