My name's Brandon and I'm a Vietnamese American interested in learning Japanese and the culture of Japan, especially the people. I'm such a noob, it's not even funny... but I'm willing to learn and have fun.

I'll do extensive searching before I ask any questions--which I'm sure will be many. Please feel free to ask me about anything, including my Vietnamese heritage. My middle name is Nhat, which translated means "Japan".

I've always been fascinated by the technology (cars and electronics), history, and language. I'd love to travel to Japan one day, and learning Japanese would make the trip more fun and worthwhile.

I have a lot of Japanese American friends, but their families have generally been here for four or five generations, so none of them speak Japanese. Discovering this forum has piqued my interests to all things Japanese.
