Questions regarding Kanji on a paper tag and leather strap

Hello, and good day. I was hoping that someone could help me with a translation of what is written on this paper tag that I found stuffed into a bundled leather strap. The strap was part of a lot that I purchased recently of leather from Japan and I believe is a bunch of horse tack used for strapping various equipment to saddles or pack mules. One of the leather straps has some stamping I am looking for translation of as well. If anyone has any information regarding the paper tag or the leather strap with the stamp, I would be very grateful. I see Showa 19 (1944) on the backside of the tag. I'll leave the additional translation to more capable people.

山陽 Sanyō (probably the name of the company that made the belt.)
昭 Shō～ (sho-something. can't read the bits after that).

Thank you for your reply and the info. It seems that I might have a very solemn piece here, Correct me if I'm wrong to think but I have an idea that the strap may have been used to bundle this soldiers belongings when they were sent home after he was killed in action. I was wondering if there was any locations mentioned home or abroad. I will place this piece of paper in a place of solace in my collection.

There is no location on these papers that I can see. Just what is above.
I don't know what the straps are for. You might try one of the militaria specialist forums. WarRelics comes to mind, but @Dentanmono might know others.

What is written on the can is instructions for using the can, e.g., the can is for waterproof, so you must open it only right before using it, or how to open the can. There is no information about the contents of the can.

The date on the first picture might be 六月十八日 June 18th.

フラン would refer to fabric フラノ or フランネル flannel.

I initially thought ツクエカケ would mean tablecloth, but the counter suffix 組 is not used for tablecloth, hmm.

Other than WarRelics, you might try Gunboards Rising Sun forum, cavalry stuff gets posted there on occasion but can't say I've ever seen tack stuff. People's knowledge on obscure stuff never fails to impress me so you never know there might a member whose an expert of imperial army horse tack.

I agree some peoples knowledge of obscure things is baffling. Always fun learning new things though and I always take away something from everybody that I get to speak with. Thank you for the input. I will check those forums out.
