Questions on Shipping things

Hey everyone, I have a few quick questions on shipping things out of Japan.

I hear the post office gives discounts for shipping books.

If one were going to ship a couple of boxes full of things, and had enough books to fill one entire box... Would it be cheaper to make one box 100% books, and make the other box have the other "stuff" when sending something by ship overseas out of Japan?

Or would it be better to try to distribute the weight evenly across the boxes even if it means missing the 100% book-box-discount?


Next question. Movers or the post office?

If one were going to mail like, 6 or 7 boxes of STUFF out of Japan, would it be best to use a moving company, or just mail the boxes out from the post office? Help appreciated!

You'd just have weigh and do the math comparatively on the first question. For 6 or 7 boxes....I'd go with the post office.
