Particle Quiz

Hi Guys,
In a Quiz I am asked to insert the appropriate particles in the four positions. There is a conversation between two people. The first asks.
「会社＿＿＿＿ _＿＿＿行っていますか」
The second person replies.
「私は歩いて行っています」

Your choices for the particles are
で
は
へ
何
I chose 会社へは何で行っていますか
Is that correct and if so is it common to use へは？ I have seen には often.

That is correct and it isn't uncommon.

You'll see it paired in other double particle usages as well.

Letter to mother.
It reads like two nouns. To mother and letter. As if the の particle is joining the two.
I have one more question on this if you don't mind.
It is a similar quiz.

First Person says.
「私はこの本を買います。アソナさんはどんな本がいいですか」
The second person replies
「私はもう少し___ ___ ___ ___ がいいです」
The choice of particles /words are.
本
が
かんたんな
日本語
I chose 私はもう少し日本語がかんたんな本がいいです
Is the conversation like this.
I will buy this book. Asona what kind of book would be good for you? the next line is confusing.
As for me a little more Japanese but an easy book would be good. are they meaning I know I little more Japanese? Or more probable I am missing something.

Think about what "日本語がかんたん" by itself might mean (in reference to a book).

もう少し「日本語がかんたんな」本

Also アソナ is almost certainly アンナ (Anna).

Since もう少し is an adverbial and can't possibly be modifying 日本語 (noun), what must it be modifying? Therein lies the key.

Well is modifying simple. i.e. more simple.... simpler.
Or more good. I.e. better
Therefore it must be saying
I will buy this book. Anna, what kind of book would be good for you?
For me a simpler Japanese book would be good.
Or
For me a simple Japanese book would be better.
But it seems to be written backwards?

It could be の but が is fine here too.

It isn't written "backwards". What you're seeing is the phenomenon of nouns being modified by preceding verbs/clauses. This is the sort of thing you usually see done in English with relative clauses.

If you've ever as a beginner wondered "How the hell do you say anything more complex than this AはBです or AはBをVERB stuff?"....there's the answer. No other single thing will do as much to broaden the scope of ideas you can express in Japanese. Make friends with it.

I'm trying to make friends with it, but sometimes it doesn't seem to want to play.

「ジョンさん、しゅくだいはぜんぶおわりましたか」
Second person replies
「いいえ、まだです。ここ___ ___ ___ ___, さいごのもんだいがむずかしいです。」
The four particles/ words are...
は
が
かんたんでした
まで
I chose
「いいえ、まだです。ここまではかんたんでしたがさいごのもんだいがむずかしいです。」

John have you finished all you homework?
No not yet, up until now it has been easy, but this last question is difficult.
