Part time job in Japan?

I will only add here, pika la san, that there is one more support group that you have before your very eyes as you read this !!

I guarantee you that Mikawa Ossan, Mike Cash, epigene, myself and many many more of us here in the Jref forum, will be here for you, to help out in any way that we can, within our means.

Never forget about us. . .and we'll keep you in mind as a cherished member of this big, world-wide family !! I too wish you and your love the best of luck and good judgement as time goes by !!! MM

Sure, we'll be glad to do what we can. But foreign men married to Japanese women and living in Japanese society have it quite differently from foreign women married to Japanese men living in Japanese society....or so I am led to believe, anyway.

Pika La, here's is what others have dug up for me so far:

Association of Foreign Wives of Japanese:
AFWJ - Home

Married In Japan (seems to be a very active mailing list)
Yahoo | Mail, Weather, Search, Politics, News, Finance, Sports & Videos

Yes, just ask, and I'm sure we'll all do what we can! That's what I like about it here: it is truly a community.

I'll check out those links. Thank you for all the help, all of you!

I guess that's it for now then.
I'll try and remain an active member of this forum! Or rather, become a more active member...

Here is a reply I got from a woman who is active and in-the-know when it comes to this sort of thing. She posted it on an open forum, so I feel free to repost it here:

Please do make active and extensive use of the sort of support these folks can provide you. Marriage is tough enough sledding without all the added extra baggage that the age difference, cultural difference, language difference, etc etc that you're heading into. These ladies can help. You know, sometimes it's a hell of a comfort just to talk to someone in a similar situation and come to realize, "Oh, good. It's not just me. This happens to everybody".

pika la... you sound like a very mature woman. Just do whatever your heart tells you and never look back. よい運
