I know that Noriko san is in a lot of trouble now for alleged drug use. She's out of work and the prosecutors want to send her to prison for 18 months.

However, I find it hard to believe that she's a bad person. Just watch this 5-star drama in which she played a key part.

her husband fingering foreigners that supplied their drug habits, nice person or not she financially supports dangerous criminals by buying drugs from them....Besides, its the law. She's doing time for Cocaine, LSD, Ketamine, Ritalin, MDMA, AND hemp.

I do hope treatment for drug addiction and psychological counseling is ongoing.
 
That makes her acting in this drama even more remarkable. She's terrific in it.

Just watch the drama. She's great in it, and the theme song is great, too.
 
no, never heard of her before... I am watching just few dramas if I catch it on tv...
but is still do not understand what do you say here - That makes her acting... what is this "that"?
I heard she is really popular and good actress indeed.
 
I'm not impressed by her singing, but she's a strong actress. I hope she gets a light sentence, possibly suspended, and returns to work soon so that she can support her daugher. And she's gotta lose that loutish husband of hers.

She's promised to quit entertainment and study nursing care for the elderly. What a joke. The drugs might have to go first, though, ya think???

Yeah, and who is going to employ her? I would never have her work in one of my homes...

That was my first thought, too.

I like her as an actress, too, but what she does on screen has no relation to her personal life.

And if she does decide to work helping the elderly, I am certain that she won't have a problem finding a job. Not everyone in the business is as scrupulous as Dave, after all.
 
She just needs to write or sell the rights to her full autobiography and she won't have to worry about money.
