New to this whole forum world!

Hi ,
I'm new to the whole Forum world, but thought i's give it a go.
I'm looking at moving to Japan from Australia at the Start of May 07 to get a job teaching English. At the moment i'm still doing research into where and all that Jazz, but i am just wondering if anyone can give me any tips of good schools (private or Public) to teach in, that are near the mountains since i'd love to catch some powder, and hikes in Summer too.
