is there any possibilities that a Filipino mother to a Nihonjin baby born in the philippines,but baby is recognized by the Japanese father and not yet married to his Filipina fiancee(mother of the baBY),can be given a chance/visa to come to Japan by using only her baby's citizenship/recognition of the father?anyone here,i ask humbly for any response.domo arigatou gozaimashita.
 
Does the baby have a Japanese passport?

The mother and child could always come here to Japan on a tourist visa as well. But I take it the mother wants to come here to live in Japan right?

Whether you will be able to come to Japan with your baby depends on the circumstances under which your baby has been recognized by the Japanese father and also whether you have already acquired Japanese citizenship for your baby. I can't tell for sure because I'm not a professional in immigration matters, but there had been a case of Filipino-Japanese children not being able to get Japanese citizenship because the father recognized them only after they were born.

If your baby is already a Japanese citizen, so much the better, but if not, you need to take immediate action on it.

hi everyone!i have a 6 years old daughter from a japanese she was born here in the philippines but she was aknowledge by her father and her nationality is filipino,her father want to see his daughter and to be with his daughter together with me,so is it possible for us to be given a visa to come in japan?what types of visa can we apply?thanks and i need help and advices....
 
A simple tourist visa is sufficient.

If I were you, I wouldn't go. Your daughter is or can be a Japanese citizen and it is possible he may try to keep the child....but not you. Your legal position would be very weak in Japan. If he wants to see her, tell him to get on a plane and come to your country instead.
 
he wants us to be in japan he wants our daughter to study there and i will be the one who will take care of the child,he said that we can process the nationality of our child in japan,so we can apply for tourist visa and change our status there in japan
 
I'm just warning you to protect yourself.

He has a strong legal claim to custody of the child and the child has (or will have) citizenship. That means she can't be deported and he can block you from taking her out of Japan. You, on the other hand, will be here on a tourist visa and will have to leave or be forcibly deported....POSSIBLY WITHOUT YOUR DAUGHTER. Don't be foolish and think it can't happen to you.

Have him come to your country, marry you, and arrange for a spouse visa for you BEFORE you take your daughter to Japan.

There are lots of parents in the world who have lost their children in this way. Please don't risk being the next one. Protect yourself at every step of the process.

Dark things can happen.
Even a court ruling from another country saying you have a right to access to the child is ignored by Japanese Gov
(This MAY no longer be the case, I know many were putting pressure on japan for this, they didn't sign a treaty that also stops child sex trafficking - same treaty btw)

You could of course ex out of the country darkside, but that is somewhat expensive.
With costs varying on who and what you know, and by the sounds of it in your case it will be expensive.

Also immigration people tend to be real bar-stewards

Yes you can put in some guarantees and fall backs for yourself, but again
who and what you know.

If he wants happy family life, then yea.
Put a ring on it, even if it's only a paper marriage.
 

thanks glenski but the link you gave me is not for us of my child case,that is only for a child abandoned by a japanese parents coz i already ask the japan embassy here,we are not abandoned by the japanese father of my daughter and of course he is our gurantor in coming to japan,
 
Please tell me if you read and understood my advice. If you want to ignore the advice, that's perfectly fine. But I would at least like to know if you read it and understand it.

I only hope that six months or a year later we're not reading a post from you how the father kept the child and you were forced to leave Japan without her and now need help in getting her back. It has happened a lot. You wouldn't be the first one.
 
The first link is from an agency. How ou use the agency is up to you. I knew that your situation was not an abandonment one.
