Hi all, this is going to sound weird as a first post, however let me say that I have been using the jref forums as much as my lonely planet guide while I`m visiting Japan, thank you to those that posted very useful information...
I am currently in Nagoya, on the last leg of my trip, been in Japan for a little over 3 weeks now. I have met many cool people, but most have been foreigners from the hostels I was staying at, didn`t really have a chance to meet any Japanese people (with the exception of Fukuoka) because, I didn`t know any Japanese people before coming here and second because of the language barrier, I don`t speak it at all... So this is a sort of invitation to anyone in Nagoya that would be willing to show me around, I`m currently staying at the youth hostel (there`s only 1 here) and I`ll be here until the 30th. After which it`s back home to Canada.
This is gonna sound like an online matchmaking post, but it`s not, I assure you. This is so you don`t think I`m some freak... I`m a 26 yr old guy from Montreal, Canada, finished my degree 1 month ago so before starting to work I paid myself a little trip here, best trip I ever had to far. Some small annoyances like not being allowed into some bars because I`m not Japanese or not seeing any Japanese in some Roppongi bars (that was weird), getting lost while in a taxi
