the site looks nice but why are the columns a different size?

That's just because I suck at HTML...

How can I force them all to be the same size? Now it seems that if the width of the text in one is more than the other, it will strech them out accordinly to adjust.

Not fun!

well, it seems you have some tables in there when all you need are cells
i could be wrong though

but in wither case
as your layout is fixed you should set the columns at 25% each or actual pixels
this should work for both tables and columns

Gave it a shot! Set all to TD's at Width 25%

It still looks a little like one is longer than the other, or maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me... hrm....

The actual pixels calculate to 182.5. The image on top is 730, same as the table width.

In the case of a half pixel, is it best to set each TD to be 182, or 183?

it looks fine in IE but still the same in firefox
i think nobody will notice 1 pixel difference
so if you were using pixels id make two odf them 182 and the others 183

try using css. instead of tables, not that hard , and it probably work better in firefox and the rest!!!! for the rest the site is looking nice, i will have a better look on it later, and i will pm you about it, cause maybe i need your help for my own website www.kobecityinfo.com
