Does anyone know of some museums in Japan that would include uniforms, weapons, items, etc. from the Taishō era military in their collection? I've been doing research lately on the period (including Japan's involvement in WW1 and the Siberian intervention) and I'd be interested to see some of the items from that era in person. One item in particular I'd be curious to look at, if any museum had one, would be the Type 11 light-machinegun (this weapon: 十一年式軽機関銃 - Wikipedia ). It was Japan's first domestically designed light-machinegun and an interesting concept, even if the design had some issues... Any ideas where this kind of stuff could be viewed?
