Hello, native English speakers,
Would (a) and (b) have almost the same meaning?
(a) More often than not, I get tired of reading.
(b) I usually get tired of reading.

Yes almost same. Just some difference in frequency. I think it's similar to the difference between よく疲れる and ほとんど疲れる.

Yes "get bored of" and "get tired of" can be used as synonyms.
