Yes it is. I'm still having MdM dreams. It's very weird. I hope that means something good is going to come from them. Maybe a new cd? *is hopeful*

i'd like to have all, to make a collection. so there are singles, DIXANADU instrumental...and dvds...
but i need to eat something...
 
I'm waiting for a bunch of CDs and a DVD... they'll be shipped the 14th as soon as D'espairsRay's new single is out... *sigh* It's expensive to have hobbies...

It's one thing to have 1001 limited edition versions of one CD, but to have three identical?!
 
Ah! That's ridiculous! Why would you need 3 copies of the same cd? I understand 2. You know, if you listen to much to one and it gets all scratched up and won't play, but 3? You should make her give you one, or at least she could sell one to you at a discount. I feel for you jrockaddict.

I know. I can't wait either! Maybe they will come out with something new in June. Everyone seems to be releasing stuff then. That would be boss!
 
I haven't got any CDs from M10M...and the reason is (of course) money...well OK I've got everything they released except the DVDs but you probably know it wasn't a very legal way...and that bothers me a lot...but I hope to have the whole collection one day but ehm not 3 copies of the same CD...ehm isn't that a bit of fanaticism?
 
Ah yes. The wonderful joy of being poor. I'm not going to lie, I got all of my cds on ebay. They are like $8 and so on. I can't afford $30 and $40 for 1 cd. Sorry MdM. :sorry:

of course it was just pure sarcasmnow who would enjoy being poor?...I never thought Mana would make music for money,though I'd say music is making money for Mana...but still who cares as long as it's so beautiful...I looooove the music of M10Mand I'll always be thankful to Mana for making it...

how would u describe or define mdm style? isnt 'it is j-rock' vague?
 
I would describe mdm as a symphonic rock band (or close to that genre). Still, it is hard to classify them into one particular genre.
 
I say they are gothic rock. I don't really know what symphonic rock means.

Oh. Then yeah, symphonic rock is the best way to describe them. Of course there are some differences but that is the best description. We will go with that!

hmm symphonic rock/metal could be ok...but somehow I feel for gothic rock/metal more...ummm maybe it is because of the sound of the organ and the harpsichord (which are used in almost every song they make I think)...and they are not like the other symphonic rock/metal bands or j-rock bands...but still I don't like to label bandsfor me it is simply M10M...and if someone asks me what kind of music they play I'll say it is metal with several gothic and symphonic elements...but there are also electronic elements...hmmm I think it is a very stupid idea but their music reminds me of some European gothic extreme metal bands but I'd rather not write their names cause it could sound extremely stupidok I know I talk a lot:sorry:sorry
 
That's how I feel too. I never label my bands. I just start with rock and then add a giant list of the other things they incorporate. I have always thought of MdM as being their own. They are definitely better than the other gothic rock bands I've heard and I'm still not sure about symphonic rock so I won't say anything about that.

But yeah, I talk a lot too. Sorry.
 
i have mdm in a special mdm group as you i wanted to know your opinions. when someone will ask me about them. i dont agree with gothic rock. they're j-rock and visual kei and i'm sure they wouldnt be ok with "gothic". they're dark and actually gothic though.
mdm is mana. and mana is my j-rock virtuoso
is there a rule about how much you may talk? [no]
