Mmm, and a rather famous clip on YouTube where Mana's trying really hard *not* to laugh at something Közi said! Also if you read what he says in interviews and such, he laughs a lot... and sometimes writes/says so incredibly silly and random things!

Yeah well, I like Malice Mizer a lot (with Klaha) but I prefer Moi dix Mois... though the members of Malice Mizer are just slightly, slightly more important/dear to me... mostly because I've known about them longer.
 
I read the 99 question interview! That was great! Some of their answers were way out there. Hahaha! And I always try to read the translations so I know what's going on. If you look through the comments on youtube then sometimes people will translate what is going on. Not very often though. Or they translate wrong. That's always fun.

Mmmm, I'm going to do that today, actually. There's a clip with an interview with Mana and K translated to French, and I'll translate it from French to English... (I should've done it last week :$)

And it's always amazing when someone gets it completely wrong and no one seems to realize it...!
 
Cool! I always wanted to know what they were saying! Thank you! I know it takes a while to do that. Mana wanting to laugh is cute! He obviously has a sense of humor.

I'm learning Japanese so one day in a few years I will be able to translate stuff. But I only know numbers and introductions right now.

I'm not sure I would've liked Mana as much if he didn't have a sense of humor... It's all right and fine with him never speaking or smiling if you know he's actually a goofy person on the inside, but if you didn't... well, I think he'd be so serious it'd be slightly boring *gets shot by fangirls*

(I've been learning French for... 5 or six years now, and Japanese for about three years... The best part with Japanese is that there aren't really any exceptions to any rules, in difference from French which has like 25 exceptions every single time!)
 
Really? That makes me feel better. Everytime I tell someone I decided to learn Japanese they are all like, it's hard and you won't be able to understand it. It was beginning to frighten me.

French is so beautiful. I think I know the clip your talking about. Now that you sound all unsure of me I feel all doubtful. Maybe I was just being a know-it-all.

I sound unsure of you? That wasn't my intention at all! I love know-it-alls, I'm constantly bothering the few people I know with ridiculous supid facts about the jrockers I like, so if I can compare to someone else I'll feel really great!

I bother my sister with facts all the time, but I think I'm going to stop talking to her about Mana. She always seems to have something rude to say about him. I'm getting tired of it. I'm tired of explaining to her that he doesn't change his facial expression and that's why he has the same look on his face in all his photos. I hate stupid people.
 
Absolutelly!!

Stuidity is one of the reasons I've problems getting along with people... I really can't stand it either. And with Mana, well... I guess, as with most things, either you get it or you don't. I've got to put up with that a lot as well, 'oh, he looks weird', 'he's a melo-dramatic freak', sometimes people even call him ugly.

And the thing is, even if you're bothered by him being male, or don't like his music or whatever, he isn't ugly. That's the last thing he is. I can't think of anyone I find as beautiful as he is.

Heh, speaking of *not* retarded, my dad sat down on my bed one day and looked through a photobook I have of Moi dix Mois' 2005 tour... and he went through all the band members going: "Mana... very androgynous. Seth... woman-like. K... a man. Sugiya... woman-like. Hayato... woman-like. Okay!"

Also, I just sat down and listen to Kanon Wakeshima's still doll, all the while keeping in mind that, according to Monologue Theater, Mana's written and arranged the music... I was disappointed actually. It felt empty, somehow.

Mmmm, I live with my parents... my dad's okay with the most of my jrock-obsession, and my mom... well, she said she'd failed as a parent after having snuck up on me while I was watching... I think maybe Zan by Dir en grey... she doesn't like it at all.
(And my oldest little brother, who doesn't listen to jrock at all, said he'd date Bou if he had the chance, even though Bou's male and my brother's straight as a ruler.)

I don't understand people obsessing about Marilyn Manson getting copied by every other person in the world... and I absolutely hate it when people compare him and Mana, or anyone else for that matter. I really, REALLY don't like him. (Although K apparently does... traitor!!)

Ah! Your dad is funny vampiry! My mom saw me watching the interview in Arte and now she is all worried about me. I guess she thinks I've joined a cult. Parents are weird. I would think by now she would have realized I'm a strange person.
 
I think Manson tried to sue the singer of My Chemical Romance (hate that band as well) for having "copied" Manson's make-up or something... Which is probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

Don't worry Sweetie, you can like whatever you want, as long as you don't try to make ME listen to it!

Yeah, my mom's worried too... she'll sit down and have long conversations with me about the importance of filling your life with positive things, because positive music makes you happy and things like that... And me, I just like morbid things (and Mana!).

I hate My Chemical Romance!! Really I hate all the new bands that have come out here. They are all generic and sound mediocre.

i havent much to say about this topic. i know the name my chemical romance and i know how they look like. that's all. i'm all j-rock for a longer time and i dont care about anything but j-rock and japan
so sometimes i feel pretty retarded when people around me speak about some us or eu bands...[crimsonmasquerade is usually out of discussion...but not here!]
 
Well, I don't know much about European bands either, at least compared to other people living *in* Europe. I know H.I.M. but I never really liked them... I think there was one song I kinda liked, but I didn't listen to music at all until I was fifteen or so...

And I only listen to jrock, only care about it, completely utterly über-nerdy!! <3

Jrock is definitely unlimited!! It's sad though, because most people don't seem to realize it... the seem to believe it's all about Dir en grey and Morning Musume... *hangs head*

vampiric androgyne - you're right. people think that j-rock are diru and miyavi [nothing against them, i like miyavi]. i'm sorry, i dont count gackt in j-rock family gackt is a 'gackt category' as well as mana is in his 'i'm above you all' category.

i dont know..are bands like an cafe and so really Rock? [sorry i dont know oshare bands - this one - you cant avoid since their crazy fans are everywhere with their bou..who the h.ll is he? confusedddd]
 
I'm slightly alarmed at how little Moi dix Mois there is here!

... I like women Not Morning Musume though, I hate jpop. Gackt to me is pop-wannabe-rock. And I personally don't consider Dir en grey to be jrock anymore, they're too big and too international, I don't really listen to them. (I'm going to see Miyavi live in July, despite not really listening to him either.)

Technically oshare kei is a subcategory to visual kei but visual kei doesn't say anything about what type of music you play, it only states that you put a lot of time in what you want the band to look like. An Cafe has a couple of songs that classifies as rock, but mostly it's just very suger-coated pop... Bou is their old guitarist, he quit last year, most people find him oh-so-adorably-kawaii-chibi-cutesy-baby-kitty-sweetly-cupcake cute... *throws up*
 
I've never heard of Morning Musume. But if that's pop then I don't think I want to.

Every night for the past 2 weeks I've had a dream about Moi dix Mois. Is this normal? Maybe I should stop listening to them all day long....nah. I don't think I will.
 
i know visual kei isnt all about rock. but everyone says their j-rock /and cafe etc/ so i'm asking
i'd like to see miyavi but i'm soooo scared of a crowd of his 'fans' and i dont want to risk my life because of him. there are others i'd like to die for...heh
only one j-rock-girl i like is anna tsyuchiya - she's awesome!

I've dreamed about lots of different jrockers at times, but I hardly ever remember anything I dream... Sweetie, what are your dreams about? What happens?
 
Mostly my dreams are about me going to their concerts or meeting them. One Mana took me on a shopping spree. That was nice until I woke up. That's about all. Nothing spectacular but I do wake up in a good mood.
