now, the next thing would be to buy a mega drive: 64kbyte ram, 80 sprites, 1mbyte rom. to make a demo for it, including animated spiders/rats. colors=16/64 out of 512.

now it rather seems like:

the pumpkin is inhabitated by mice
the demo is for the sega master system
mega drive emulation on the master system with fewer colors

replies: please review if you make friends or just recognized considerably. notice sentence structure different. notice the different sentence structure.

can you imagine i write a scene with spiders attacking the character? now the game language would be japanese, OMG is not common, select expressions which:

fit into the scenery
are understandable locally

aren't there already so many games with phaser guns? my interest is it to provide gameplay with spiders, rats and bugs.

black cats are considered as providing very bad luck to people they meet.
i do not especially prefer them.

Have you ever tried getting an old Mega Drive from ebay? By the way, I don't think you can emulate Mega Drive games on a Master System ...

U don't know why we use the word...besides...making sense out of what he said is a big task on its self ! ☝ Like the riddler himself...if he would post in a clear understandable way I wouldn't be in "what-mode"

alexriversan, I have no programming skills whatsoever, but I have seen people release homebrew games for old consoles before. It can be done if you're a skilled programmer and know how the system you're trying to program for works.

By the way, Space Harrier is the ****, I play it on MAME all the time.

MAME is arcade/68k/16bit (like mega drive)

SMS is 8bit (fewer colors, lower resolution)

i have documentation about the sega genesis hardware (memory map)

but first i need a developement machine.

later on tonight i will play space harrier, my hero, and miracle warriors.
