Upgrade March 2015

Dear valued Members,

we apologise for the unannounced closure of the forum.

Today we

- upgraded to the latest version of the Xenforo software
- upgraded to the UI.X framework which will facilitate future theme updates
- applied a few cosmetic changes
- installed a review script (accessible to all members within the next few days)

In addition to the ongoing effort of sanitising the 日本語 fora, here is our road map for the next few weeks and months:

- changing the directory structure of the forum and all related add-ons and modules
- implementing an article system integrated into the forum core (more on that later)
- improve mobile-friendliness with the ultimate goal of dispensing with third-party mobile applications currently in use

The Review module is up and running. All members, especially our Tuttle volunteers, can now directly upload their book reviews to the website. You need to be logged in order to rate, comment and "like". Currently, there's only one section ("Books"), more categories can be added if the need arises.

We have added another useful feature to the postbit section: a Contact link just beneath the avatars that permits registered users to contact other members via Private Conversation with just one click:
