looking for good plain yogurt

Hi,
Can anyone direct me to brands names or what would be on the label of a container of plain yogurt/yoghurt?? I don't know what I'm reading very well yet, and what looks plain yogurt inevitably ends up being sweet. I tried one that was not sweet but it wasn't good (and I do like plain yogurt, so that was not the problem). I have access to foreign brands, but the "plain" isn't plain at all....corn starch, preservatives, etc.

I like to make my own yogurt, but the starter (unless you buy powder) is plain yogurt as well.
If someone would be so kind as to even show me the kanji or other symbols I might find, as well as any preferred brands, I would appreciate it. I really want it plain, no sugar, no sweeteners or flavors, but as many live cultures as possible. Is this available here?

You should look for ﾆ致ﾆ椎陳ーﾆ停?慊 ﾆ塚?ーﾆ丹ﾆ停?ｹﾆ暖 (pureen yooguruto = plain yogurt).

My favourite is the one in the middle of Meiji Bulgaria Yogurﾂ ﾂ（窶堋ｻ窶堙娯?堙懌?堙慊） - you can eat it without any sugar or jam or honey.
I also like Koiwai yogurt, though often it's a bit pricey compared with others, and its texture is a bit runny.

There's a good plain non-fat yogurt that I've found at Marusho Supermarket. Unfortunately, I forget what it's called but it has a pink lid and is very cheap, about 150 yen for a tub. It might be Kowai that undrentide suggeted above. I recommend it.

I believe you can find a lot of yogurt in your country.
Look for it in the dairy section in your local supermarket.
