Hello all,

I am doing research about Japanese Credit Cards, and have questions, could You help me ?:

Is the structure of Japanese credit cards similar to USA/European credit cards ?
Are local cards more popular than World-wide used cards?
And what about Japanese names on cards, are there in original format or Roman-Japanese ?

Thank You, Pawel

Hi Pawel, we do have a few threads on CCs here at the forum. Personal names are - to my knowledge - always romanised.

What do you mean by "structure"?

Hi, Yeah i checked some threads but its always about visas, mastercards etc. But as far as I know there are a lot of local institutions, probably with own Credit Cards.

By structure I mean - USA/EU structure is mostly : Name,Surname,Experience Date, Number, Safety Number.
I wonder - maybe local Japanese CCs have some other information.

Thanks
