Linking actions

Hello,

My japanese understanding is still very basic, so I'm still working on learning the basics of the language. When I first learned to link sentences, I learned the て-form. However, it seems there are other ways to do the same.

Do all three examples below mean the exact same thing?

モールへ行って、友達に会って、ポップコーンを買って、映画を見ました。
モールへ行き、友達に会い、ポップコーンを買い、映画を見ました。
モールへ行ったり、友達に会ったり、ポップコーンを買ったり、映画を見たりしました。

What`s the difference between them, when to use each of them?
