It seems wierd to have cameras there just for himself. No, I think theyll probably do *something* with it, xpecially if its his first ever over seas concert.

i knew they filmed kamijo's entrance cause i glanced through the window, and that's when psy quickly asked if by any chance we thought he was gay, and i was like shhh he's coming and they have video camera, which of course, made it funnier! i think we ruined the effect kamijo was going for. oops!

but i thought they just filmed here and there and then nora went somewhere so kamijo was just sitting there like what! we took the opportunity to talk amongst ourselves, somehow that involved boobs, we laughed, i look over and there was a woman filming like right over psy's head facing right at me! i nearly fell off my chair. that must have been some expression on my face! and she never stopped filming!!!

kamijo was still just smiling politely wondering what in the world we were giggling about and whay was psy fixing her boobs, lol.

oy, i'm embarrassed now...
 
I hope you guys don't mind me joining in. I've been watching your conversation for a bit, and I thought I'd invite myself in. ^_^ I'm one of the girls who had dinner with Kamijo on Friday. Oh, and as far as the recording went, they did ask for verbal permission to release any photos or recordings that were taken after the Friday dinner. They said some photos might be published in the next Cure issue that covers Kamijo coming to the US.

I don't know whether or not they will assume. The photographer had left, and then he came back just to ask for our permission and tell us that the meal cost had already been covered. When he asked for our permission, he asked whether a verbal agreement was fine. He didn't want to be bothered with written and documented forms for some reason. We all agreed that it would be fine.

I just went to the lareine site I guess u request a song for someone to sing karoke to??from the list?I think they choose 50 songs each month or somethin like that but why does lareine want us to request what do they get if we request those songs??hmm.. dunno
 
AHHH that would be cool =) haha seriously... the thought of how many kamijo/lareine fans are here in the US is always so unexpected =P haha the 400+ people that showed up... HAHAHA that was SERIOUSLY unexpected =P the most i thought were gonna show up was... probably 100?? (sorry.. but i seriously didnt think THAT many people knew lareine)
 
Joysound is a company that makes systems used by the big karaoke centers in Japan. In Japan, karaoke places are similar to hotels -- you can rent a private room in a variety of sizes, each of which contains a video/speaker system and machine for ordering songs. They're just about the only place one can sing, at least for many Tokyo residents... Lots of people live in cramped apartment buildings with thin walls and don't own cars, so there's no place to practice singing unless you specially rent a karaoke room, and the karaoke centers have multiplied like weeds. Most of the big chain karaoke palaces have a few Lareine songs; I often see fiancailles, Bara wa utsukushiku chiru, Fuyu Tokyo, and Billet among the listings.

The listed songs are the ones that are currently available at karaoke places using Joysound systems, and the numbers are the references by which we can order them. Lareine is asking us to request more songs. I just put in a request for "Saikai no hana". ^o^

I'm glad they posted this; I didn't know there were karaoke places with SO MANY Lareine songs. Next time I go to karaoke, I'll try to find a place with Joysound systems so I can sing "gerbe". ^o^
 
Oh, I'm expecting to see some of the Fanime footage at Kamijo's birthday live/party. ^o^ It'll be a much less formal event than a regular concert, so it's the perfect time to show it. Maybe during an intermission in the concert itself, or sometime during the party. If it was me putting together the footage, I'd definitely pull out the Boob Conversation/Clueless Kamijo clip, add subtitles in different size fonts like they do for the funny parts of Japanese talk shows, and make it the highlight of the "overseas digest" film. XD

Karaoke rooms aren't exactly like hotels... I don't know how to describe it, there isn't really anything similar in the US. Well, maybe it is like hotels after all. A lot of my friends, when they travel to concerts in other cities, spend the night at a karaoke center because the all-night rate is cheaper than a hotel. And I've heard that some young couples go there for you-know-what. >_<
 
HAHAHAHHA thank goodness i wasnt there at the dinner then =P haha if kamijo really plans to show the clips from fanime at his bday party/live!? haha how embarassing it must be =P BUT... im sure you would get a BIG BIG laugh about it =P and be like "HAHAHA OLIVIA AND BONNIE ARE SUCH DORKS!" haha jk jk jk =P if kamijo shows it... i hope its the original =P no cut outs or anything =) he can just... not put subtitles at the boob conversation =P HAHA wow... how fun would that be =)

hotels.. karaoke places.. same thing =P HAHHA but people spending a night there? dont people notice? or are you kinda just... renting that room for... a couple of hours? EWWW that would be gross if you were enjoying your music and singing along and then you find out that some "happy" couple did stuff in there?! EWWW!!!

haha well... we werent intentionally throwing rose petals =P but me and kei's flowers kept colliding into each other and instead... rose buds flew off =P HAHAHA but... rose petals sound more romantic =)

okay. so i have been reading..
lots.. and i have to apologize to everyone for not being able to send my fanime pictures out. ( i have yet to get that new laptop)

and i totally own those boots from hot topic. they are very cheap. but they get comfy once you break them in. (as do most boots, i guess) theyre wicked cute, though, arent they? Although the heels on mine are torn from falling into subway grates all the time. im thinking of rebuying them. and kamijo does has tiny feet =] (for a guy, at least) i think korean kareoke places work the same as japanese ones. i've gone with a couple japanese friends one time and they've said its quite similar. There are a lot of them in LA
i can't go a single day without looking at fanime pictures either. i knew coming back to reality would suck. Oh, and it would be so badass to find that they use a dinner clip to show the fanclub. even if i do act like a fool. only inertia will know =]

Yay, Bonnie's here! ^o^

Kamijo was at the Hikaru birthday live that Applause Records presented tonight. After Izabel's first set, they showed a video of messages from bandmen friends. (Kamijo filmed his part during some free moment at Fanime) Then, Hikaru came back out with two unusual guitarists... Left side, ex-Marry+An+Blood/Ribbon vocalist Kanzaki. Right side, Kamijo. Kanzaki looked like he was cosplaying Kamijo, in white shirt and loose leather pants with high boots. The white shirt actually was Kamijo's -- I recognized the lace, and the foundation all over the collar. (ROFLMAO) Kamijo wore a black cloak with cape, and the spooky contact lenses from Sunday. He looked so evil and ridiculously sexy. They ALL looked great, I didn't know which way to look. @_@ And they played a cover of New Sodmy's "Phantom." That was wonderful. I miss hearing New Sodmy songs at concerts.

I think I still have the Fanime jinx. After the concert was over, I went in the hallway for a cigarette and parked myself next to the ashtray by Izabel's goods table with a gang of Fleur. Kamijo chose THAT particular moment to run out on an errand to the Izabel table. Couldn't believe it. (LOL) He waved at us, had a short conversation with Izabel's roadie, and said he'd come back out again, but didn't reemerge before the livehouse staff chased everyone outside. I didn't give him the Polaroid -- I didn't have it along because I wasn't expecting him.

The Japanese Fleur I talked to are SO ENVIOUS of American fans now. We can sometimes take one picture with the band or one of the members at an event here, but being able to take two or more is amazing to them. They were stunned to learn that American fans could actually pose touching him in some way. They were further shocked to hear that some fans had actually HUGGED him. And then we commiserated: "Why isn't he that friendly and open HERE?! We want to hug him too! T___T" And then they all decided that if Lareine goes to the US, they want to go along. (LOL) I think it's only fair to warn you guys... ^^;;;;

If the fanclub is free now, I wonder why they don't just open access to their journals, etc. like other bands. Maybe they just enjoy keeping a list of how many fans they have? ^^;

Pixy - Don't forget that you and Onita asked to have his babies! I think that would be more embarrassing than the "boobs" conversation. Thanks for the link to that shoe place! They have the "witch" shoes I want for even cheaper.

BONNIE! I've missed you and was really starting to wonder if you would ever reappear. I sent you the link to my pics through email. You did get them, right?

I wonder if Kamijo didn't bother washing the shirt or if it's just stained like that? It seems like it would have come out if he washed it.... If he didn't wash it...and Kanzaki still wore it....ew. I'm not sure if that Fanime jinx was a blessing or a curse. It's nice to see him unexpectedly at relaxed moments, but we saw him so many times it was ridiculous!

We're not the ones that need a warning! Someone should warn Kamijo that a horde of Japanese fans might show up demanding hugs at his next US appearance! I wonder what he'd think about that?

Kaine - I was surprised to see him holding hands with that girl on Saturday (not the cute little one, the adult). I really expected him to be more reserved and to not touch the fans. I'm sure he enjoyed it and felt comfortable (at least on Sunday). He was stepping closer to people and pulling their hands around to get them to do certain poses.

Why didn't I hug him when I had the chance? :?

EDIT: I just got an email from HMV. A new release from Izabel Varosa for the next three months. No releases for this long (almost a year?) and now they're suddenly making up for lost time. This is going to kill me with shipping fees.
 
oh nononnonononno......i never asked that! if he didn't want people to ask him boxers or briefs, i'm pretty sure this one wouldn't fair any better! lol. i've embarrased myself enough just being there sitting next to him! haaha.
actually i don't recall anybody asking that, but then lots of what happened is blurry to me now! hahhahhaha that's kinda sad since i wish i could recall every single second!

awww..pastel you should've hugged him!!! to tell you the truth, i didn't go for a hug either cause i thought maybe it was too much, but then i saw bonnie and kaine getting hugs after i had gotten my picture, i was really kicking myself! but at the dinner, after i got my polaroid taken with him i was gonna get outta the way, and he offered the hug, just opened his arms wide, hahaha i keep hearing him say "wide" like at the show, lol.

but yeah, i got lucky cuz if he hadn't offered i don't think i would've had the guts to ask for one. or in bonnie and kaine's case just go for it! lol.
