i think the thing that makes me most nervous is just caz... i love kamijo too much =P if i were to take a pix with any other jrocker, even tho i may really admire them and really like them... i wont be AS nervous as i am now with kamijo +P i think i may just pass out during the picture -_- goodness... i can just imagine how the picture is gonna turn out... SEXY kamijo and a half dead stupid me -_-
 
yeah, i see what you mean. i think what made me nervous was that jun was kinda staring at me when i walked in and that threw me off cause i thought he was so hot, lol. from there i had to make sure i didn't trip or drop my camera...
what i have to watch for is eye contact, once i make that connection i'm done for. it's like a holy crap! moment, you know. same thing happened with dir en grey at the l.a. airport. i made eye contact with kaoru and what do i do? stand there like and idiot!! i'm proud that i at least didn't drool. or pass out. lol.
 
It's pretty typical for details and whatnot about Lareine's events to be late so I'm not worried at all. For example, Lareine is going to do an event for Third Stage sometime in May. It has to happen before Fanime since there's no more May after that (I can't imagine they'll do it without Kamijo), but they haven't even announced the DATE yet... Last December, Fleur didn't send the tickets for the oneman within a reasonable time. They announced less than a week before the concert that they'd be sending the tickets by registered mail; fortunately, the fans raised such an outcry immediately that Fleur changed their minds and allowed us to pick the tickets up at the livehouse an hour before the concert. >_<

There are so many instances of Fleur/Lareine being late with things. How many of their CDs have been delayed over the past few years? But usually they pull through in the end, even though it might all seem really last-minute. ^_^
 
hey, did you guys notice that they added a friday dinner with kamijo? is that new, or have i just been out of the loop lately???
 
i think they just added that?! HOW EXCITING!!! hahahah maybe... there were too many ppl who wanted to eat with him =P man -_- im not getting to san jose until saturday i think... wat time are you guys gonna go? we should all meet up!! i wanna meet you guys!! =D

Somehow I'm not surprised there's another dinner added. (LOL) I can just imagine the staff asking Kamijo, "What do you want to do on Friday night?" and Kamijo being like, "Well, there's not time to do any real sightseeing, so how about we have another dinner with fans! XD"

I'm arriving Friday morning, and during the afternoon I want to take advantage of being in the US to do a bunch of errands. I'd been planning to cosplay that night, but if I go to the dinner, I'll save the costumes for Saturday instead. It's embarrassing to meet somebody when you're dressed up as him.

I'm casting a vote for "doesn't wanna eat a meal alone". XD

I guess what Kamijo signs depends on the rules...? I don't think he himself cares; at CD release events here, fans have had him sign everything from pamphlets to photo sets to purses. Here, he'll personalize it if you tell him who to make it out to. (Foreign names can be difficult for him to understand/spell, though.) But Applause Records isn't the only company involved in this so he might not have a choice about what he signs at Fanime.

Is anybody else going to cosplay? It would be nice to take pictures together. ^_^ Saturday might be the best time for photos since the most fans will probably be there then, maybe after the signing event?

I'm a Kamijo cosplayer. I'll bring the white costume from the 1998 Fleur tour and the black Tour Metamorphose one. If there's space in my luggage, I might bring Chou no hana as well.
 
HAHAHA.. i will desperately try to fit your expectations of me =P but i mean what i say =P caz its from the heart =P haha so i think that'll show when i meet you =D

ahh i wanna contribute my vote to yours =) i still think itll be awkward =P that one on one dinner =P altho it would be nice to get alone time =)

how big are your costumes?? i always thought kamijo's outfits were really.. .big... unless you're gonna bring BIG BIG luggages, is it really possible to fit 3 outfits in there?!
 
they added things for the dinner friday too! wow >_> yea I was thinking that too what could kamijo do friday if has nothing going on that day lol so I got an answer hehe yea be cool if we could all meet up and take pics I'll be with a Meta group but I be cosplaying kamijo Saturday and Satsuki Sunday and so I hope to meet you all there!! it be so fun we can all see kamijo and wow I can wait!! what's the countdown?? um 29 days? I could be wrong..

So the dinners are auctions after all... Well, unless they turn out to be charity benefits, which I frankly don't expect, I won't bid on them. For everybody else, that's one less fan competing for the spots! To anybody who does bid, good luck winning, and I hope you have fun!

I can't decide if I should bother bringing "Chou" or not. I'll probably only cosplay on Saturday and I'm not sure there's time to squeeze 3 costumes into a single day. ^^ All 3 will fit into a single small suitcase, and I have to bring an extra bag anyway to allow room for all the delicious American junk food I'll bring back to Tokyo (XD), but is wearing a costume for only a couple of hours worth being able to bring back that much less junk food? Food or costume, food or costume...? >_< (When I visit the US nowadays, it's like the scene in "Charlotte's Web" when a bloated Templeton sings the praises of the fairgrounds trash. ^^)

3 costumes in a single day IS a lot!! hahah and think of how mcuc your gona have to run to the bathroom to change or soemthing =P i would choose food =D hahah but then again... i dunno WHY you'd want nasty american junk food when you've got such spiffy treats in japan =P haha they have the craziest smallest snacks in the world =D but nevertheless, i wuld totally choose food over costume... (even tho i wanna see your outfits.... its insane to bring 3!! and wear them all of em in one day =P) well then again, when i go to japan, i will bring a whole suitcase of our junk food for you =D

hey... i just realized that theres 6 slots to the dinner thing... so its not quite a one on one thing =) better than nothing rite?
 
ah, inertia i'd go with the food, but then again i'd love to see all your costumes. but that's just me. lol.
hey does anyone need to share a room, i've already booked a room w/ one bed, but i'd be willing to split, i think they still have some rooms with double bed left and i could change the reservation if needed.

Man, I hate seeing him on ebay with everybody's old junk. >_____< Used toys, old shoes, computer parts, and Kamijo. -_____-;;; I thought I'd gotten used to the idea of dinner auctions over the past few weeks, but I hadn't expected to feel a smarting sensation as if he was standing in a corner at somebody's garage sale next to a decrepit 8-track player with an insultingly cheap price tag around his neck. $49.99, what. Anything would be too cheap, but that's just... really... ugh, words fail me. >__<

I'm glad to be going to see Moi dix Mois tonight so I have something to take my mind off this.

surprising to see kamijo up on ebay lol most times there is hardly any lareine on ebay except for rare stuff sometimes seems now they put all 6 dinners up for bid too..
out of topic -_- my lareine cd's have not came yet I even emailed cdjapan about "winter romantic" cd and they said they dont have any right now??>< to wait and they sent it to me when they get some x_x what?!! I'm so angry with them right now Why do they even have it up then jeez..I hope my stuff comes in time for kamijo to sign it..@_@ I should just bought from thirdstage but no...ok I'm done hehe..
 
oh damn!!! that sucks!!! seriosuly... thats messed up... plus you ordered it so much earlier, they shouldnt have ran out of it?! hopefully it comes before too!! i wonder if i should bring my kamijo in vienna dvd??? -_- ill be bring my 'deep forest' for sure tho.. you think he'll have some copies there? ill probably buy them or something?? =P
 
yea kamijo in vienna dvd good thing to bring and scream cd too I wonder if he even sign old lareine cd's??

yeah, i hope they have those at fanime since i haven't ordered them at all. it was either spend money on cds or go see kamijo. kamijo, of course!!! it's sooooo weird seeing kamijo on ebay. and it's an even weirder feeling while clicking on WATCH THIS ITEM....
well, i hope they do let him sign other stuff. at the phantasmagoria show my friend was sooooo mad cause all she had was a magazine and they wouldn't let them sign those. and all i had was a poster so i waited and waited and then they finally let up and allowed them to sign the posters....
