I'm Hayley, 19 years old, Japanese and French student at a university in Wales. I found this forum after a long and frantic search for a nice community where I can find other people interested in Japan.
As part of my course, I study Japanese language and a bit about the history, sociology, economy and politics of the islands. It's really fascinating and I especially love the Meiji Restoration.
I did martial arts for a while (5 years shotokan karate, 2 years aikidou) but unfortunately gave them up last year to pursue another interest of mine... the flute!
I'm not a fountain of knowledge with regards to anime but I like some such as Gravitation, Initial D and Inuyasha. I'm also a fan of Yuu Watase's manga (so young and so talented).

Japanese culture is so fascinating and I can't wait to spend some time there in a few years. I've never been to Japan but it's been one of my life-long dreams to go there.

That's pretty much me in a nutshell.

I'm impressed with the way you show interest in Japanese culture.. to be honest, when I first started to learn Japanese, I had no thought toward the culture.. learning the language, however, steered me towards becoming more and more enlightened with the culture as well. A lot of the words and ways they are used are due to certain histories in the culture (of course). Therefore, I began to take better interest.

Aaaaanyway, Yoroshiku ne! Looking forward to chatting with you more in the future.

Edi san, let me to introduce my self. Call me Wayan. you could see my profile for detail. My wife is japanese, we have 2 kids. I married 10 years ago.
There are many problem during the time, because of our natural cultural.
But, we can go ahead till this time happly.

hey,an Idonesian fellow huh?nice to meet you. You're lucky to have been married with a Japanese. I'm still far from it cuz I'm still anak SMA.but fortunately I don't have much problem with her.the only problem is her proffession as a model in japan and her habit to watch some porn movies. but I can neutralize it,so her porn movies watching habit slowly deceased. jadi,salam kenal yaa....
