Hello everyone, my name is Charles. Im a 25 y/o Male currently living on the wonderfully cold eastern seabord (wonderful should be taken as a slight bit of sarcasm). I grew to enjoy Japan while stationed there with the US Navy in Yokosuka. I have been away from Japan now for 2 years, going on 3 and i really miss it. I would like to make some friends to keep up on whats going on, and to talk about Japan. I really miss taking walks in Yokohama's Sakuragicho district.

Hi Kokunobakadesu ! Welcome To The Forum !!

I'm here for almost the same reason as you. I spent 2 years in Fukuoka in the Navy, but 35 years ago. I still miss Japan and have fond memories, so love JREF for keeping Japan alive in my heart. There is another member named PLAYAA who's in the Navy and just got assigned to Yokohama, should be there soon. There are a lot of members who haven't been to Japan yet, so feel free to share your knowledge and memories with them. Glad you found JREF, enjoy!
