Its very late here so I'm unsure how well this intro will go but here I go anyway.

I'm of Irish/Finnish descent. At the age of 21 I finally fulfilled my dream of moving to Japan to live and work. From a young age I became interested in anime ( the types shown in the Western World. DBZ, Sailor Moon etc) this interest then quickly grew during my teens extended to the History, Culture, Cuisine and the people of Japan.
I never thought though I would get to move to Japan but during the later months of last year I was offered my chance of moving to Japan. So here I am now with my young daughter and fiancee living in Japan
Though I'm currently back in my parents native country for the Christmas Period.

Thats my background on my love for Japan etc covered. Some of my other interests in life are surfing, playing rock music and writing. I've written a project which I'd love to get produced into a anime though I don't know if that would ever happen.

If you don't mind, I have a question for you. What kind of job did you get in Japan and how did you get your fiance onto a dependent visa? I'm just curious because I didn't know that was possible.
