During my time in the Navy my ship was home ported in Yokosuka. I currently work for a Japanese company in the US.

I agh.....(gets up off the floor with a cat paw prints left in some seven to eight places on his face)...as I was saying, I think there may be some far reached, cosmic relation between y...agh....(gets up after missing the timing
on dodging that artful feline)...my father was on his mine sweeper doing watch not too long after the moment I had been born. He got his first cigar there at that time...and so the circle is complete...I'm here now... but way up here in the mountains, away from the pleasures of the ocean waves, spray, and beautiful girls of summer.

WELCOME to JREF !! It's the place to...agh...(moving back from the screen farther) be for all things Japanese, and a good place to spend a relaxing evening as well !!

I hope to hear more from you as time goes on !! I think I've got the neko chan's (meaning cute little kitty's) timing down now, and can dodge all those sparring moves. See you 'round...agh....(wonders how that happened) 🙂

Interesting! I was stationed aboard the USS Midway from early summer 1975 to early summer 1977 and at CFAY in 1983-84. I also made several visits to Tokyo at other times. Anyway, welcome!
