job qualifications- teaching, art, music (?)

I was just wondering what are the qualifications for teaching in Japan. Or just getting a job in general with 'my' qualifications.

Languages: English, Spanish, Japanese.
Bachelor in Comp Art and Drawing.
I guess I can stop there. I also know how to play guitar. If that counts for something lol
 
You would definetly have a nice chance to be accepted for programs as JET (Japanese exchange and teaching program) to teach english, knowing that you are a native english speaker. I do think that these jobs are rather underpayed..

If you are fluent Japanese, then you might find a job at quite some design companies (maybe foreign ?) or just companies in general. Some Japanese companies may be interested in hiring you just because of your western background, cause you might have other ideas (foreign) in your head if you know what I mean. But if you are not fluent Japanese, this may be a problem for some companies.

If one of your languages is Japanese, it seems to me you could just J-Google it....

By "teacher", do you mean "public school teacher with a career" or do you mean "dancing bear who for a year or so after college pretends to teach English to people who pretend to learn English"?

If the former: You need Japanese citizenship and you have to pass a national licensing exam.

If the latter: You need a necktie and a pulse.

What sort of teaching are you considering? There are so many varieties.
public vs. private schools
conversation school
university
business English
non-English foreign language
Etc.

Does the American flag under your name mean that you are American? If so, then you have the bare bones basic minimum requirements for entry level English teaching work (conversation schools and JET Program). Anything else, and you'll need more credentials and experience.

"Published writer". So? Published what? Comics? Novels? Scientific articles? Self-published or with a real company? How many things have you published? In what languages?

If you think a fresh BA degree in Comp Art and Drawing will get you a job here, think twice. Tons of locals are vying for such work, and you need a portfolio just to get your foot in the door.

How well do you speak, read, and write those languages?

Have you looked at the FAQ section at all?

I was honestly more concerned that someone would be so overjoyed to have monkeys in them whereas I would think that this would be some sort of nightmarish thing they might do to you at The Ministry of Love.

I thought he said he had a bachelors degree in compositional art & drawing.
 
I have no idea why I stupidly looked at the avatar and ignored the gender completely... The man in drag in the gigantic sig, and the alternating-case nonsense phrase at the bottom of the post should have tipped me off.

Maybe he/she was just trying to project what he/she will have in the future, and wanted to know what the odds are on getting work with such credentials. The OP here is too general and vague to know for sure.

I have a feeling that it was also projecting that it will have Spanish and Japanese ability when it graduates from college, in which case the chances of being anything but a dancing bear are slim.
