JLPT application process

Mods: Feel free to move me to a better suited sub-forum, I couldnt decide myself where to post, and since this sub-section had a few JLPT threads, I decided to post it here

Yesterday (07-27-2013) I just had my first time ever JLPT application/registration formulary, and I guess I did a few mistakes.


First of all - I wrote inside the "date" field( above My intended JLPT level and Registration number), only to later on find out that I wasnt supposed to put anything in it.

Second - Answered the 13 field who was supposed to be checked only if I'd picked the 5th option in the 12 question (regarding my occupation).

While I acknowledge that I should`ve read well the Formulary Filling guidelines, I've already delivered it to my Sensei in the gakkou where i study.

Do you guys have any advice on how to deal with it? past experiences with JLPT ? Do you think Its any possible that I might get "declassified" or "unable" to acquire my admission to do the test by december?

Critics and reminders of my own stupidness are welcomed too

What do you mean you gave the application to your sensei?

you suppose to send it to your host organisation in your city.

Why don't you ask your teacher if you filled it in properly?

At many schools you actually can give it to your teacher, who will send it for you. This happened to me as well when I was at a language school in Osaka.

thats what I'm intending to to ASAP. Too bad I ackowledge that I indeed "misfilled" those fields.

My biggest fear is how grave these mistakes might be, or, if by any chance they could "invalidate" my application.

Who's they?? Your "sensei" cannot "invalidate" your application, and your "sensei" probably still haven't sent your application away to the host organisation since application do not start for another week for most non-Japan test sites.

Sorry, i edited my post so that its a bit more clear now.

I'm guessing if these mistakes while filling the form are enough to "invalidate" my application. Just to recall what i've done:
I "marked" two fields i wasnt suppose to do so.

The jlpt application just opened here in Australia. Everything is done online this year.
