Thanks for that - an interesting site I must say. Funny is that they reccommend a shopping site and to translate it with Babelfish. But Babelfish can't LOL! But I have a plan B, it requires thorough thought though (does this sentence look odd to anyone else?) so stay tuned.

Are you planning to buy in bulk and sell, or just for yourself?
I'm planning to sell some things from Japan this summer when I'm in my hometown (Miami). If things go well and I have to order more I'll probably try out dankedanke. (or that taiwanese ebay)

I'm only after some sake branded T-shirts for mysel. There is one on J-list, but its only available in one size (and I fear it may not fit me). I will be in Japan for a layover in a month, but its overnight and almost all the shops will be closed in Narita city by the time we get there - and then we have to be back at the airport before they open!
I'm going to cath up with a friend of mine who spent last year in Sapporo - maybe he can ask some of his old classmates?

Well we have a 9 hour layover inthe middle of the day on the way back, so if we have any money left we will go to Chiba to do some shopping.

but i don't know where i can buy it and if I must to pay aditionnal tax on the french border... ???

Aren't they alittle pricey? With expensive technology I would reccommend you buy within the EU so that you have a warranty, because if something goes wrong it will almost guaranteed be a total loss due to the cost/time expenditure required to rectify the situation.

You are right for the guarantee, but it is for that that I chose the brand Wacom which is very reliable.

I bought an Acer laptop when I was an exchange student in Japan and the screen busted after I returned to Miami. Not a pleasant experience...

Honestly Man-i it is worth reconsidering buying at home (or at least in the EU). Once you tally up all the costs (credit card fee for the purchase, shipping, insurance, buyers fee, customs) your saving may only equate to around €100, if that. And considering that you get a 2 year limited warranty according to EU law, I suggest looking around in the EU. Some places will even 'give' on the price a bit if you ask them nicely, or play them off against another competitor.

my company just put a new website online selling Japanese products internationally. It's new so there are not many products yet but more are to come. We are planning to sell almost anything that people are interested in, but we also like to hear ideas or requests from people.
I can't post an url yet, but you can type akinaiblog in google and even though the site description is in Japanese, the page is in English (we are waiting for Google to update their index..)

You may find some on eBay or on the Japanese Yahoo trading site. Why do you want one? If you are going to Japan for a short period it is easier to rent a phone - for longer durations it would be better to get a contract (there are a couple of threads on this if I remember correctly).
In case you didn't know, the Japanese cell-phones do not work anywhere else - there might be exceptions but I know of none - so if you want to use it outside of Japan you're out of luck as far as I know.
