I'm not sure this is a good idea...

The Japanese travel sector is booming, with PM Kishida meeting ministry heads to discuss maintaining this momentum. One divisive idea is the development of luxury resort hotels in all 35 of Japan's national parks. This plan follows a record 17.7 million inbound foreign travellers in the first half of 2024, primarily concentrated in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto. The government aims to redirect tourism to other parts of Japan, highlighting rural areas' natural beauty and tranquillity, which contrasts with the metropolitan allure of Tokyo and Osaka and the cultural richness of Kyoto.
