Japan with sleep apnea?

Hey. Anyone else here have sleep apnea and lived in Japan? I need to use a CPAP every night, and some of the equipment needs to be replaced every few months. I'm wondering if I can get it there easily (I noticed my machine included Japanese instructions!) or if I'll have to have it shipped

I guess that's the one time I'll need to use a power adapter--a few volts' difference means something on medical equipment!

I would see who the manufacurer is, and contact them to see if they have a branch in japan or if they sell parts for their machine in japan. Other than that... i did some google and yahoo japan searches with not much luck.. sorry....

Oh, good, at least they're aware of sleep apnea in Japan. (I've heard of a couple of medically advanced countries where it's even more underdiagnosed/misdiagnosed than in the US, so it was a concern for me.)

make sure to take the japanese instructions in case customs ask questions? gl
