Is GMAT required for apply grad school in Japan?

Hi,

Currently I am lookin in to grad school of commerce in WASEDA. However I am not sure if the score of GMAT is nesssary when apply for graduate study. I am tryin to avoid to take the test....Does any1 know anything abt this? Also has any1 taken the entrance exam for Waseda's graduate school of commerce? How can I prepare for it?

I don't think Jp universities ask for GMAT scores. There's info on eligibility and procedures in their website in English.

I'd suggest you that you contact them directly. Japanese universities' offices are quite helpful to international students. Not speaking for Waseda (never been to), but some others I've inquired were really kind in providing info.

I haven't checked, but all those standardized tests (GMAT, SAT, ACT, etc.) are American, so, I highly doubt that, so my guess would be for you to ask the school directly, if they don't know what you're talking about,then there's definitely no need for a GMAT.
