Hello, native English speakers,
I need your help.

Do you ever use both sentences? If you do, do they have the same meaning?
(a) I have nothing to write.
(b) I have nothing to write about.

An American in another site says,
"Native speakers don't use after positive negative construction.
I haven't anything to write
That will be right."

Do you agree?

I think they are both possible and have same meaning. I would probably not use though. I'd say I don't have anything to write (about) or I can't think of anything to write (about).

Thank you for the help, mdchachi.
