High School in Japan

Hi, :joyful: I need some advice on something ﾂ（ﾂ＾ﾂ?楪＾ﾂ）
I recently found out that my family is moving to Japan (╥﹏╥) :56:
Well, I have a problem...... I don't speak Japanese
My dad does though!! he's Japanese and was born and raised there ^-^
Anyway, I wanted (before We move there) to find out information on High Schools in Japan *\(^o^)/*
So, that's what brought me here after long searches and no luck
(I have no luck since I can't read Japanese ﾂ≫?枩ﾂ? and dad won't help me )
Sooo.... A list of Schools with some descriptions would be greatly appreciated ( ◕‿◕)
Oh...and maybe some advice on what kind of school I should go to (obviously an international school, right? )
Oh! And... Do all schools have a dress code? O.O
....because I have piercings and I dye my hair frequently ._. (And it's colors like: green, purple, etc)
Oh! And additional info!! we're moving to Tokyo since that's where my dad is from!! ^______^

Oh! P.S. I do know some Japanese which my dad taught me over the years and I know Some customs and stuff like that, but that's about it (ﾂ??ﾂ?? )

Where in Tokyo? Will your father's employer cover your schooling costs? Has no one in your family given any thought to your schooling or talked with you about it?

I don't know. You'd like to think in all the hubbub arising from this somebody would have taken the time to sit down and give the kids the skinny on what is coming up, but it is possible they didn't. I hope international school tuition is going to be forthcoming from somewhere. Otherwise this could turn into a real sucky experience.

When we have looked at International School costs in the Kansai region it has been in the neighborhood of $20k a year, I would imaging Tokyo would be at least that. Unless its a crazy good job that will be quite a burden on them I would think.

Just out of curiosity, does the Japanese public school system, or private for that matter, have any ability to deal with students who don't speak Japanese? I know in the US public school system they basically have to provide whatever requirements might be needed to get kids to the level of English that others in their grade level are at. But starting from scratch in High School is going to be a PITA for both parties I would image, unless the student is very gifted in learning languages.
