Hi There! ^.^

Hello~! My name is Lauren, I'm almost 18 and I'm from a small town in the United States. My love for Japan actually started when I was smaller. I loved Hello Kitty! I Still do! During elementary school I started to like Yu-Gi-Oh and a few other animes, without even knowing what they were called (I didn't know they were called anime until someone told me, haha!), or where they were from! Incidentally I found out all the things I loved seemed to come from Japan. o.o

So my love for it kind of grew from there! Recently I've gotten into a lot of J-Drama (if you haven't noticed already, Shunsuke Daito is my favorite actor!), and I've started to learn the language, though it's temporarily taken a back seat for my schooling. I'm currently in college, hoping to be an Occupational Therapist! I don't have many friends who share my interests, so I'm hoping to make some here, and hopefully it will also help me learn Japanese! It's nice to meet you all! ^^
