I'm sorry my friends, but i need your advice one more time. Allow me to explain:

i've been chosen by my home university in mexico to apply for sophia university.
I need to fill a bunch of papers and sent them before february 21st. I must deliver:

- Certificate of eligibility
- Application form for exchange student at sophia university
- sophia university housing application
- and a bunch of less important things.

Anyway, i want to be honest, right now i really don't have money to survive in japan. since the beginning i have been trusting that i could be granted a jasso scholarship, but i won't know that until august approximately. If i don't get the scholarship, i will just simply retire.

The problem is that the certificate of eligibility and the housing form are already asking for financial information, for example annual incomes and such.

What should i write there? i could write the real numbers, but i'm afraid of being rejected when they find out that i have not enough money to live there.
Or i could write a nice number but then take the risk of not getting any scholarship.

When someone is relying heavily on getting a scholarship, how are we supposed to fill this kind information?

hope you can help me, thanks a lot

When I filled out the form requesting a certificate of eligibility, I wrote in the JASSO scholarship as a source of funding and kind of "fudged" it with the rest. I think I was aready told I'd be getting the scholarship.
You should probably check with your international programs people, though, and see how people normally handle it.
