Help me Please! About Monbukagakusho Scholarship for Undergraduate 2010!!

Hi, I'm kinda new here! i wanna ask about Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho: MEXT) Scholarship for Undergraduate Studies.
I'm a Malaysian. Just finish my SPM last year and trying to get this scholarship
What are the requirement for SPM result to get accepted? Like how many credits or A's or what? you know!
And
What do i need to prepare if i get to sit for the examination and interview?
(What kind of syllabus or what kind of question?) *If you have last year paper please do post it here for me!*

It'll be tough to get an undergraduate this year unless obviously you've a strong academic background as in at least an almost perfect SPM. These days, people are talking straight which is pretty common these days so without it, I think it'll be rather tough to land yourself a scholarship. Nevertheless, you could try and with not much time left, do get your application in rather quickly. Also, it does help as in heaps if you're a bumi. Good Luck!

apnea I know it's tough to get a scholarship but at least i tried and i just mail the application today =P

OMFG the math A Syllabus i just can do some of it only! English is easy but the math! seem like add math to me. I need a tutor!

Hi, i am desperate to know about the success of passing the preparatory exam held at the end of any undergrad first year education in Japan.

What are the subjects being tested? While it is called preparatory exam, some also said about it being an entrance exam. So what is being tested? Japanese only or includes Maths, English etc.

I am really worried about taking the preparatory exam because i don't want to be admitted into a course that is taught in Japanese.

The first year for undergrad scholarships is to learn japanese and other subjects, its basically your ronin year to THEN apply entrance exams.
MEXT usually chooses a college based on your scores, but you're free to choose another university and sit for it by your own, if you pass you can arrange the MEXT scholarship to that university.

It's kinda silly to wish not having courses in japanese... you should use your year of grace to learn the language enough to take classes as other native japanese.

If you don't think you'll be able to, it a shame, but you could have researched beforehand a n university and career whose classes are given in english, and applied the scholarship with that university in mind.

Unless you chose a rare school in Japan that teaches subjects in English, why would you think universities would teach content courses in anything other than Japanese, especially at the undergrad level?
