Hey! I was not aware of this place so...I kind of already posted like 5? Anyways, Hi!
My name is Fumiko [English Name: Karen]! I was born in the states to a Chinese Father and Japanese/Chinese mother. However, Japanese culture has influenced my life more than Chinese has and I am really traditional-- being raised in a japanese-influenced business family. My mother's side has influenced me more because they live in the same general area as me as opposed to my father's side. My family owns businesses primarily in China and Japan but all Uncles have worked and love Japan [especially my 2nd Uncle whom my grandma loves to brag at his fluency and speed he learned Japanese haha she's such a cute old lady
At the same time, I really like modern fashion and music of Asia-- [especially Korean music haha] but I really like Japanese Rock music, lolita fashion, or just the fashion in general. I hope to learn Japanese because I already know Chinese. My grandmother knows Japanese but she's too old to teach me, haha and she speaks Chinese to us.
I want to go to Japan to visit Buddhist Temples because I am well, Buddhist. I also want to see many Shinto temples, Wildlife, and stuff like that. I also want to go shopping because Japan is probably gonna be the next fashion country in the world [who agrees?]! I love asian fashion!
Uhm! I like Japanese Food. I'm not a big fan of sushi and raw fish but a little is okay. I prefer Teriyaki and cooked food
I really like photography, art, and culinary arts. I hope to major in business, get married, and earn money. I also want to minor in Culinary Arts because I really like to cook and eat. [Mostly eat] I love Italian Food.
